Several segments of the show were recorded in 3D. Special 3D glasses with the brand of the show were sold in stores before and during the show, and viewers were advised to put these glasses on when the 3D segments started. These 3D segments were filmed using the Pulfrich effect, by which the glasses had one dark lens and a light lens. This way, the brain received the image from the dark lens a bit later than the light lens, thus tricking the brain into creating the 3D illusion. But this required that in these segments the camera kept moving constantly in horizontal or that featured objects or people did such or circular movements. Without glasses, these recordings looked like ordinary 2D images, which makes it incompatible with traditional two-color anaglyph 3D systems and glasses.
