Nice and poetic movie from Marocco...
anders-16622 July 2004
The first thing I noticed about this movie was that it contained a little too much clichés and a boring storyline. This is however not as bad as it sounds because of the films artistic values. Nawfel knows how to use the camera and deliver a good visual show. Tunisia is a beautiful scenario which suits this sad movie.

The film has lots of qualities. I think Nawfel is inspired by Henrik Ibsens infamous drama 'A Doll's House' and he's not afraid to use Ibsens retrospective technics and symbolic acts/figures. As a huge Ibsen fan I can't help but become charmed when I notice such things.
