A very personal and touching view of September 11
I have seen this documentary many times. Every time I see it, it hits me emotionally. Just hearing the wives, mothers , fathers, brothers and fellow firemen talk about their loved ones. How these firemen(343} who perished , went into the World Trade towers as people were running out. Their only thought was to save lives without any regard for their own. How the director, Mike Lennon, combines actual footage from that day and then using scenes of those involved in this personal loss. It is a must see for anyone whether they are American or from any other country.

Best Doc I've seen this year
Simply the best documentary I've seen this year. Heartbreaking look at the tragedy of 9/11 through the eyes of a retired NYFD Fireman. Incredible footage and insight into the event. Wish that he would do a sequel to follow up on some of the survivors. Just when you think you know what the experience of 9/11 was like here this film comes along with the perspective of the firemen from many different houses. This film really should be playing on television. I highly recommend it.

Heartbreaking and Healing
The films Brothers...On Holy Ground and the TV documentary 9/11 done by Gedeon and Jules Naudet are the only documentaries that I have seen so far that truly preserve September 11th, 2001 for what it was.
Brothers...on Holy Ground helps us to better understand the emotional toll and strength that emerged from the Fire Fighters and the wives that were in the film.
But what sets this film apart is that it dispels the hero and reveals the man.
This is a very important film and will become even more invaluable as the time comes to teach future generations never to forget them.
