Wentworth brilliant comedian
barbbennett3 January 2007
Too bad this show didn't work, Alexandra Wentworth's national career never quite got underway as it deserved. She was hilarious with her current, sometimes socio-political, humor.

It was inexplicable to us that she was confined to so few gigs on late night talk shows. She deserved much more--movies even.

This show was too little too late for Wentworth's talent. She may have seemed a bit too warm next to Jack Ford's cool--an "odd couple." And it would not be surprising if she overplayed it since that had somehow worked for Regis's forceful ladies.

Ford's a likable guy--not his fault either that he was thrown to the lions on that show.

Cringey

I saw this once. If I remember correctly, it seems like there was a cooking segment with a guest chef and Ali Wentworth very proudly and quickly consumed a whole bottle of wine (maybe even more), with a few awkward laughs from the audience. It was very disenchanting and not funny at all, the manner in which she seemed to glorify and trivialize alcoholic intoxication. I just remember her acting like a poor rich fool, and I felt embarrassed for her and whomever her relatives are. She probably wouldn't have those bags under her eyes or act so obnoxious if she didn't drink like that.

Regardless of her husband's career or her political leanings, she absolutely does NOT represent the voters for the Democratic party.

A good show-Wrong time slot!

I watched the show nearly every day while it was on. At the time Regis was being overly full of himself and I had gotten tired of him talking over people and never letting them answer a question. I thought that it was a good show, but knew it was doomed being slotted against Regis and Kelly. Why on earth they put it in that time slot was a critical error. Ali was kooky and a fresh of breath air, Jack was handsome and had nice character. It is a shame that it was set up to fail from the beginning. I think that it would have done better in a later morning time slot. Anyway, I personally thought that the show was pretty good. The guests were decent and they might would have had better appearance power with a different time slot. Cameron Mathison was also cast well in the job that he did. I do not think Ali is a bad actress, I think that there are certain parts that she does well and she shouldn't venture out of those parts.

Terrible

This is the worst daytime talk show on TV today. Ali Wentworth is the most annoying woman in the world. I watched the show one day and i knew i had seen her on TV before, and then i remembered, she was on Seinfeld once before, and she was TERRIBLE! She played this annoying girlfriend of Jerry's, basicly the same person she is in real life. and who the hell is Jack Ford? I can't see this show being on the air much longer, lame ass guests lame ass show, if anyone watches this show everyday, find them and smack them in the face and then say "NO!" This is like worse than Regis and Kelly, if you can believe that.I'd take Kelly Ripa over Ali Wentworth. Go away Ali Wentworth you are a no name lame actress.
