Great story, keeps interesting

In the days that F1 was very competitive with 4 championship contenders and even more possible race -winners ... this 1986 story is a great one. Lots of Drama- a movie maker couldn't stuff this season with more drama and action! You're seeing real racing among "enemies" Prost Senna Piquet and Mansell together with all the other heroes. Neather of those four ever gave up or gave in in their entire career with 11 world championships between them in 13 season's. Only Lauda and Rosberg were able to take two championships during their reign. With Schumacher taking championship after championship, win after win, dominance of the CASH in the sport and FERRARI as team, all the Driver-Aids and lack of other true Heroes with Balls, you will see that Grand Prix Racing used to be Exciting Sport in the past...

Warning: Spoilers
Clive James was always good game for a formula 1 review. This look back at '86 is no exception, James' Aussie wit as sharp as ever. Of course the racing that year was superb, some stunning races and a titanic battle for the title between Piquet, Mansell and Prost. The Williams was the quicker car, but Prost was a canny operator who stayed in touch with the leaders just enough to cash in on their troubles in Adelaide. Poor old Mansell's tyre blow-out is featured in this video, a piece of F1 history I can view time after time. The music is very 80s and the picture dated, but if you want 2 hours of classic grand prix you can do a lot worse than this. The 80s turbo cars were spectacular, just a shame F1 isn't this exciting now.
