Did you know
- TriviaOne first season episode, "Terms of Endearment", had a delayed airing. It showed Captain Hero as a quadriplegic after giving up his super powers (saying, "You know what happens to superheroes who give up their powers".) It was such an obvious reference to former Superman 'Christopher Reeve' that it wasn't aired until the middle of the second season, after Reeve passed away.

Toot Braunstein: [trying to get Xandir's attention with her head in a guillotine] I swear to God I'll cut my fucking head off!
[Xandir ignores her, Toot slices off her head and flashes him while Spanky takes a dump in her skull]

Don't be fooled or spooked by the provocative and utterly vulgar facade. Beneath it you will find only intelligent humor adressing society's conflicts and tensions.
Now I am not going to claim that Drawn Together is primarely satire/political criticism disguised as a comedy to teach people morals because it's not.
At it's core it is clearly an entertainment show intended to give you endless laughs and that's about it.
But the beauty of this show lays in the way it does this by blatantly including and addressing racial, sexual, societal and hierarchical preconceptions, stigmas and taboos in a way that exposes the very hypocrisy and pointlessness within them.
This show is literally filled with cliche filled characters which have preconcieved routines and habits and the fun starts when they get forced to abandon their way of life and enter interaction with the other characters.
Or to cut the story short - If George Carlin would have made a cartoon, this would be it.
