What's the deal with engineers and frisbee?
makavity9819 May 2004
I'd love to see this movie gain a cult following, but that will probably only happen among fellow WPI alum like myself. I watched most of this movie with the guy who operated the boom (Jon Yurek), and he provided an amusing running commentary. The highlights of the movie are definitely the soundtrack and the scenes from Worcester.

The story is basic: a group of guys are framed into playing on an ultimate frisbee team. Their goal is to beat the snobby yacht club team. Their obstacles are many, including having a blind coach, very little talent, and the fact that one of their teammates betrays them and kidnaps their best player.

On a scale of one to ten I give this movie a 5. But considering most of the people involved in this movie had 1) never made a movie before, 2) were concurrently enrolled at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and 3) had a budget smaller than what I spent on books last year, it's quite an accomplishment.
