This movie is the work of a few brash young upstarts from the midwest. I attended the premiere and was impressed. The script was well written, the cast chemistry was evident and the per dollar production value was superb. Special mention to the role played by Sarosh Syed.

A great first effort

Some day, Luke Matheny and his cohorts in making this film are going to have much longer entries at IMDb..."A Place In France" was the first full-length feature film effort by and about a group of four young men who try to make a go of it in Paris. The movie is well-written and funny without trying too hard to be funny. The characters use of self-deprecating humor highlights their "flaws" and turns them into endearing, winning qualities. The laughs are plentiful, and you'll leave the theater with a smile on your face. If Luke and his buddies can do this with a minuscule budget, I cannot wait to see what they can do when they have "real" money to play with.
