Director Randolph Scott met Antoinette Abbott during a promotional photo shoot for the film and asked her to play Natasha. She agreed to play the part if in addition to her fee she was given Cara Loft's black pants at the end of the shoot.
Due to financial and logistical deadlines the Producers were forced to shoot the film during the winter, making outdoor shooting conditions extremely uncomfortable, with the exception of desert locations, which were unusually perfect.
The film was shot in 3 states over the course of 14 days.
Leila Hashemzadeh was originally cast to play the role of Milla and shot promotional photos as the character, however on the day of shooting her scene the Producers received a call from her letting them know she was regrettably stuck out of town. She was replaced with actress Annie Body.
Jennifer Washick was originally cast to play the role of Natasha, however during the winter shoot she caught the flu. To stay on schedule the Producers were forced to replace her with actress Antoinette Abbott.
