This show is great. It has so many of the values I grew up with. Being in this type of family I can relate. Elena plays a young woman who at times does not understand her family's way of thinking. At times, she wants to just get away from it all. The family looks at her to take care of things and the sister is not relied upon at all. I like the show when Elena breaks off her engagement and just leaves with her friend. She has to get away from everyone and collect her thoughts. Again I can relate since my family relies on me like Elena. Please let me know what you think? I am interested if people feel the same way I do about the show.

No agents...just a hobby acting is...I wore the onyx black outfit in the marriage dance scene... I was 48y.o. then. Memorable crew. Nice experience.

This was filmed in the Montreal metropolis. It was written by the playwright Steve Gallucci. I remember the director being a calm able person.

The other principal actors were passionate in their interpretation of Canadian Italians in Québec of the era. It touched a fine line of characterizations.

The review is swell enough. It was nice seeing Claudia Ferri in action and I appreciated the unique experience of contributing to its credibility.
