Avoid this sov flick

There are hundreds of great shot on video flicks so please avoid Escape from the dead.

I really wanted to like this movie. I had heard good things from a few people who had bought the movie. I bought the movie for next to nothing and I'm glad that I didn't spend too much for it. The movie revolves around a horror marathon that gets interrupted by a group of zombies. \

The biggest problem I had with the movie was the sound. It horrible. Next to that the directing style was pretty weak. I understand that working with a micro budget you have to make sacrifices, but video tape is cheap. Spend a few bucks and make sure your characters can act. Or at least feed them the lines so it doesn't look like a bunch of chimps on camera. Actually watching chimps would have been more entertaining.

My advice for Eamon Harman or whatever is last name is to read a few books on film-making and maybe a screen writing book or two then you might be able to create something worth watching.

Horror/Comedy

Escape From The Dead is a horror/comedy along the lines of "Idle Hands" or "Re-Animator." Stars Lance Steele, Diana Burton, Billy Dynamite, as well as a cameo by director Eamon Hardiman. Contains tons of foul language, violence, and a little bit of male nudity.

This is a great and somewhat bizarre little film, with a lot of laughs and not a single dull moment. It stars Lance Steele (Who looks similar to Michael Biehn) the often comedic television referencing Billy Dynamite, the sword wielding Diana Burton, and Eamon Hardiman (Who looks similar to a cross between Bruce Campbell and Ben Affleck) It is black and white which adds to the comic book "Zombies Ate My Neighbors" feel. There are moments of very cool shots and good lighting as well to add to this quality. It may not be for those who take it overly serious, but this is definitely a comedic and entertaining way to spend a late night or Saturday Morning, though the film is a little short, it is still very watch able and has a very cool soundtrack as well.
