One of the funniest short films I've ever seen. Some people are addicted to buying and selling, others are obsessed, competitive lunatics when it comes to yard sales and garage sales in Los Angeles. Scanning the classifieds, staking out their targets and arriving early to get the best deals. Several characters are profiled throughout the film in interview-style footage. The performances are so genuine and convincing, for most of the film I could hardly believe this wasn't a real documentary. The comedic timing throughout is brilliant. It was chosen among the top ten submitted shorts and screened in 2004 at the Flickering Image Festival here in Los Angeles. I don't think this is yet released on DVD. If you're ever lucky enough to see One Man's Trash ... I guarantee you'll laugh your ass off!
