- 88New York PostV.A. MusettoNew York PostV.A. MusettoYou're either going to love this film and run out to see everything Majewski has directed, or you're going to be bored silly. I'm hoping for the former.
- 80Village VoiceVillage VoiceThere is magic in these intimate passion plays, which are filled with sloppy, loving detail and are mounted without a hint of pretension. Each banal moment becomes achingly gorgeous, not least because of Spiteri's disarmingly straightforward performance.
- Affected but elegant, this digital video riff on "Death in Venice" was orchestrated by Lech Majewski, the Polish writer, painter and director of films, plays and operas. His musicality is evident in the fresh and lively flow of images, though his tin ear for dialogue and staleness of theme enervates the composition.
