Bravo unveiled a new on-air look and a fresh batch of original programming Thursday at the Television Critics Assn. press tour. A new logo and tagline, which reads, "Watch what happens", is meant to convey the cable channel's focus on edgy, creative fare, Bravo president Lauren Zalaznick told reporters in attendance at the Universal City Hilton. "It's a call to action for original, gutsy, arts-based programming with attitude that I and viewers have come to expect from the channel," she said. The network will make good on its brand promise with newly announced programming, including The Million Dollar Recipe, a feature-length documentary about the Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest scheduled to air May 2, and Showdog Moms & Dads, a March 30 special that serves as a follow-up to last year's Showbiz Moms & Dads.

Bravo is going global with its reality formats as NBC Enterprises sets about bringing Bravo's upcoming series Queer Eye for the Straight Girl, as well as Significant Others and Showbiz Moms & Dads to the international television marketplace, it was announced Monday by Leslie Jones, NBC Enterprises' vp international sales and format production. "Following the overwhelming success that our international broadcast partners have enjoyed with Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, we are thrilled to now be offering them a fresh new take on this special formula," says Jones.
