This Tv film is adapted from an Hughes Pagan's novel. Pagan was an Olivier Marchal before the time, I mean an ex cop who quit the force because he could not bear the horrible, disgusting, awful things he saw during his years. But he was a solid novelist, screenwriter for movie and TV industry in France. He wrote terrific and above all realistic plots. This one is adapted from one of this novels: VAINES RECHERCHES, not my favorites, but the stuff here, which I review, is better than the book. Good acting - Jacques Weber is purely outstanding in the Schneider's role. The latest character was a recurrent one in Pagan's books. Better than TF1 Tv channel productions, destined to warned audiences. Hardcore rape scene not recommended for the whole family....
