A Remarkable Achievement
browilliam20 February 2006
Jason Garrett's debut feature introduces the audience to some aspects of the leather subculture through the experience of leathermen competing for leather titles. The filmmaker clearly respects his subjects, garnering their trust through months of contests, and revealing their hopes, fancies, conceits, kinks, and visions of sexual freedom and brotherly bonding. The film is hilarious at times and also moving. It contains a wealth of information about leather for those unfamiliar with the topic.

Being myself a leather titleholder, I found the movie accurate, fair, balanced, and thoroughly entertaining. I recommend it highly.
