Warning: Spoilers
Back in the VHS era ('80s) i enjoyed Chi Chi LaRue's cleverly titled video "Itty Bitty Titty Committee", which featured a memorable incest role-playing Lesbian scene starring Raven Richards. His other work is strictly mediocre, including this feature, one of many Mercedez vehicles he helmed for Vivid.

It harks back to a rather dated genre of science-fiction best exemplified by "Beast with Five Fingers", a '40s potboiler notable for having Luis Bunuel work on the script in a rare Hollywood assignment for the genius director. Based on understandable superstitious fears concerning the new medical practice of organ transplants, many minor horror films have been generated by the notion of hands of a killer taking over the will of the transplant recipient, and variations on that theme.

Feature opens with bandages removed from Mercedez's face, as the operation to give her new eyes is medically successful. But of course, the source of those eyes will motivate the movie's plot.

Director LaRue, a gay blade whose exuberance and camp sensibility are on view in the BTS short subject on this DVD but absent from the movie proper, delivers an all-sex video with merely the trappings of story-line porn. As soon as doctors Mario Rossi and Voodoo, attended by nurse Nicole Sheridan, are through removing M's bandages, they repair to a very cheap set (almost a blackout stage sans set decoration) and have three-way sex, both men wearing condoms (even though Voodoo and Nicole are famously a married couple, exempt from such safe-sex restrictions as enforced by labels like Vivid) and the inevitable d.p. is provided for the fans.

Mercedez is married to Steven St. Croix, and they provide another sex scene together, while later on nurse TJ Hart gets to sample co-worker Rossi's big dick too. The set-ups before the players engage in sex are lame and brief in the extreme; since Mercedez abhors learning and delivering dialog it is no wonder that LaRue is just the director she desires.

MINOR SPOILER:

Completing an all-big-tits femme cast is exotic Devon Michaels, portraying as the video moves into fantasy territory the dead prostitute who signed an organ donor card and gave her eyes so that Mercedez could see again.

Abstaining from the expense of any special effects, LaRue has Michaels appear in a mirror, sort of haunting Mercedez and revealing the movie's plot to her. Result is merely more sex scenes of Mercedez taking it in the rear (a rare occasion for the Vivid superstar) from Michaels' pimp Brad Taylor and later having an impromptu lesbian scene with Michaels herself, or her ghost/phantasm or whatever. LaRue and his untalented scriptwriter Jim Steele (more familiar as a NonSex porn actor in the classic "Naked Hollywood" series and journeyman production manager) fail to develop any logic or credibility to the sex with the dead benefactress gimmick here, pretty much writing it off as just a dream when Mercedez wakes up in bed with hubby Steven to mercifully end the show.
