Nice to see everyone, but disappointing

Fran Drescher wants to move on from "The Nanny," so she made a deal with Lifetime that, in exchange for doing this reunion show, she could direct an episode of "Strong Medicine." The reunion took place at Drescher's Malibu home, which is amazing. Seeing the cast again was great. But no Daniel Davis, who was doing a show in New York City at the time. This was not mentioned, leaving the impression that Davis didn't want to do the special. My question is, why not wait until he was available? Instead, Fran said, "Danny's late" and when she announced "Danny's here," it was Danny Bonnaduce. Not a great addition or a good idea.

The clips were fun but there was a scripted quality to the special that made it less spontaneous.

Bottom line: I wanted more. So far, the best of these Lifetime reunion shows has been the one for "Designing Women." I would put this second, and "The Golden Girls" reunion, which should have been the best, third.

    Nanny Reunion

All of the comments I read about the Nanny Reunion were true. I would love to see yet another Nanny reunion with Daniel Davis included. I was so worried that Fran Dresher was no longer speaking with Daniel because of his absence. "The Nanny" is my favorite show, and the show would not have been so good without Daniel. It was only right that everyone attend when schedules meshed. It was "Niles'" comments and quips that made the show ever better. I would love to see a more "laid back" reunion.

I would also like to see a "Sheffield Reunion/Show" where everyone plays their characters as they did in "The Nanny." It would be really kewl to see how this could all come together - even if it's for a two-hour show that might yet turn into another sitcom.

    Very disappointing really

The Nanny Reunion was pretty good but it wasn't enough because it didn't feel real. I was expecting a bit more like the entire cast, but unfortunately,Niles(Daniel Davis) didn't sow up who was 1 of my favorite characters, by the way. Instead of saying that Daniel couldn't make it, Fran said he was running late when he was really in New York. I also heard that Fran was the producer of "A Nosh To Remember" to produce some other show or movie. That was really disappointing. It's like the reunion needed some spice(it needed Niles!)I would not have mind if Niles could make fun of C.C. one last time because I needed a laugh. Although the reunion wasn't that bad I mean, it showed the rest of the cast and they had their laughs and they showed us some bloopers and stuff but I really wish Niles would've been there and I never really expected Fran to be the producer of the reunion for profit to be the producer of something else. Not bad, but not great! I gotta give it a 6/10!

"A Nosh to Remember" was disappointing, to say the least.

I really missed Daniel Day. Even if Daniel Day couldn't make it, I think I would have rather spent more time with the original cast than wasting time with Danny Bonaducci (which is not to say he's not a good guy, he just doesn't belong in a Nanny reunion...in fact they could have brought on some of the repeating characters from the show, like Roger Clinton or Fran's psychiatrist). I would have liked the show to concentrate more on the reminiscences of the cast than all the eating and looking at the view. In addition, I would have liked for the cast members to talk a little about what they are doing now. In comparison, I found the "Golden Girls Reunion" to be more informative and more fun for the viewer.

Nice to see a Nanny reunion

It was wonderful of Fran Drescher to open up her spectacular Malibu home to hold a reunion for the much loved, and never forgotten characters of the hit sitcom The Nanny.Although Fran still has that somewhat annoying, thick Queens accent, her appearance has dramatically changed since the Nanny. However, with long straight black hair, and style still in tact,Fran Drescher makes the 40's look fabulous, and was the gracious host for 'A Nosh to Remember' A must-see for all fans of the Nanny. All actors from the Nanny were present except for Daniel Davis (Niles the Butler) who unfortunately couldn't make it.His absence was noticeable too.The stars had a meal together on the balcony overlooking Malibu beach,as they reflected on memorable moments from the show.It was a real treat to see Maggie,Brighton and Gracie all grown up and it was obvious that the actors truly formed long lasting friendships during the series that remain in their hearts. It was wonderful to see the cast all together again, and great to see hilarious and 'special' Nanny moments relived again.
