The Men Who Killed Kennedy: The Smoking Guns
The Men Who Killed Kennedy: The Smoking Guns (2003)
The seventh episode in the series is perhaps the weakest so far but if you're a Kennedy buff then it's certainly worth watching. This episode takes a look at a couple suspects who might have had a connection to the assassination of President Kennedy or perhaps some sort of cover up. These two suspects are John Liggett and David Ferrie. If you're familiar with the Oliver Stone film JFK then Ferrie was the one played by Joe Pesci.
This episode once again expands on the mystery of previous episodes. In the earlier episodes the series made is quite clear that Oswald wasn't involved in the assassination so this here shows what these two men might have been covering up. We also get to hear from people who knew both of them and while the interviews are nice there just wasn't anything excellent here to make it more entertaining.
