New york as it really is
jmtully24 June 2006
I saw this film at a festival and thought it had a gritty quality to it. I took place in a garage where i thought the characters actually worked there, that's how good the acting was. Joseph Tully, in the role of Paul, was particularly interesting to watch and a strong presence on film. Overall a cool short film. I've tried to find other works by the director and especially the actors involved but haven't had any luck. They seem to talented to have not worked since. I would advise anyone to view or get a copy of this film if it's available. It's worth the effort. Many of these short films have no structure to them, you feel as if you're watching fragments of a story with no beginning, middle or end. Collision is different. It draws you in to where you believe what the characters are feeling and saying. It has a real old new york city feel to it without being forced. The garage scenes are both funny and scary at the same time.
