Riveting and Haunting--But what is society doing today?
elskootero29 November 2006
I saw this film a few years back and would love to get it on DVD. It's like a car wreck--you don't want to look, but you have to! It does a fabulous job documenting the "work" on twins that Dr. Mengele perpetrated on these people, and traces the courageous survivors into the present. But what are we, as a society, doing to perpetuate what he did? Look at the disgusting single women, seemingly wealthy, and having above-average intelligence, who go to sperm banks to be impregnated by Nobel Prize-winning, or super-successful businessmen donors in the hopes that their baby will be the same? And would you like to guess just how much of what scientists know today about cloning was learned from Dr. Megele's notes and writings? It makes me wonder what we really learned from the Nazis and what we're doing with it? I think that these women should be very, very careful what they are wishing for: They may get it!
