A solid drama with foresight

Warning: Spoilers
This is an excellent film with a simple yet very solid story line and one which is perhaps more relevant in 2016 than it may have seemed back in 2004.

The plot is simple - set in Munich, Lisa is a cute German blonde who is into free-living and liberal ideals. She is student and easy-going. Sharif is a Muslim migrant from Pakistan who ends up in the city to study, but he has other intentions and is sworn to commit a terrorist attack relating to conflict back home. Lisa and Sharif meet in a bar, she flirts with him and ends up back at his hostel where they have drunk sex. She leaves when she wakes up and expects not to see him again, but they have a chance encounter and form a relationship. Their cultures are totally different but they try to make it work. Then Lisa discovers she is pregnant - while at the same time she searches for Sharif at the local Mosque she learns that he is involved in a terror plot. Lisa is then torn between what to do.
