Variety has broken the news that there’s a new horror film called Murder with the Stars heading our way – and this one’s coming from an unexpected creative team. Actor Jonathan Silverman, who is best known for his work in comedies like Caddyshack II and the Weekend at Bernie’s duology, will be directing the film, which is being produced by Jeff Franklin, the creator of the TV show Full House and its follow-up Fuller House!
Comedian Craig Shoemaker has written the screenplay… so, while the project isn’t being referred to as a horror comedy at this time, we can probably expect to see a good amount of comedy in the finished product. Shoemaker has previously written episodes of Just the Ten of Us and Fuller House, as well as the films The Lovemaster and Totally Baked.

Producer Charles Band, founder of Full Moon, started dreaming of having the Puppet Master characters cross over with the Demonic Toys characters while he was bringing the first Demonic Toys movie into the world back in 1992 – in fact, during the behind-the-scenes Video Zone that was put together for the release of Demonic Toys, Band revealed that Full Moon was considering having the puppets and toys face off in Puppet Master 4. That didn’t happen, Puppet Master 4 ended up being something totally different, but the idea of Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys was kept alive for over a decade. Unfortunately, Band didn’t get the chance to produce the film when it was made. He had to sell off the rights to the Sci-Fi Channel, and they made the Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys movie that was released in 2004. But now the crossover is finally happening under the Full Moon banner…...

The collectible makers at Neca have created action figures inspired by several of the awesome little characters from Full Moon’s Puppet Master franchise. Their line-up includes Blade, Torch, Pinhead, and Tunneler… and in December, they’ll be releasing 7″ scale action figures based on the puppet characters Six-Shooter and Jester. An image of Neca’s Six-Shooter and Jester action figures can be seen at the bottom of this article, and more can be found on the Neca website.
The Jester puppet has been part of the Puppet Master franchise ever since the very first movie was released back in 1989. Six-Shooter entered the picture with Puppet Master III: Toulon’s Revenge in 1991 and quickly became one of the most popular puppets in the series. Unfortunately, he’s also one of the most difficult puppets to bring to the screen, due to the fact that he has six arms to move...

Plot: After her foster mother is killed by the demonic jack-in-the-box Jack Attack, 16-year-old Lily is placed with another family… and then Jack Attack returns to wipe them out as well.
Review: Back in 1992, Full Moon introduced horror fans to the Demonic Toys. Four tiny terrors that look like something you’d find in a kid’s playroom, but are actually homicidal servants to demonic masters. There was Jack Attack, a clown jack-in-the-box with a maniacal laugh, sharp teeth, and a tentacle tail; Grizzly Teddy, a vicious teddy bear; Mister Static, a robot that rolls on tank treads and fires deadly lazers from its gun arms; and mouthy baby doll Baby Oopsie. The Demonic Toys never gained as much popularity as the puppets from Full Moon’s Puppet Master series, but they did get a franchise of their own. Yesterday, we shared the news that Full Moon’s Puppet Master franchise will continue with another solo puppet entry (like 2020’s Blade: The Iron Cross and last year’s Puppet Master: Doktor Death), Puppet Master: Furnace Leech Woman. And that’s not the only Full Moon franchise that’s about to get a new sequel. The Demonic Toys series is also continuing with movies that focus on just one of the evil toys at a time, and after making Baby Oopsie, Baby Oopsie 2: Murder Dolls, and Baby Oopsie 3: Burn Baby Burn, writer/director William Butler is now diving into a different Demonic Toys spin-off: Demonic Toys: Jack Attack.
In the latest episode of his Full Moon Universe YouTube show, Full Moon founder Charles Band said that Demonic Toys: Jack Attack will be filming in Cleveland, Ohio, and production is set to begin in just two weeks. Plot details are being kept under wraps,...

Full Moon recently started taking a different approach to their long-running Puppet Master franchise. Rather than continue making Puppet Master movies that feature multiple puppets, they’re now focusing on solo puppet movies. These solo spin-offs got started with Blade: The Iron Cross in 2020 and continued with last year’s Puppet Master: Doktor Death. Now, in a new episode of his Full Moon Universe YouTube show, Full Moon founder Charles Band has announced that the next entry in the Puppet Master franchise is the solo puppet movie Puppet Master: Furnace Leech Woman.
It’s a bit odd that the movie isn’t just being called Puppet Master: Leech Woman, but there is reason for the addition of “Furnace” in there. Since late last year, Full Moon has been giving out replica puppets that are designed to look like the puppet Leech Woman after she was burned in a furnace in Puppet Master II.

As fans of marionette-based murder are well aware, we’re now 12 movies deep on the Puppet Master series, the long-running B-movie franchise that started with a direct-to-video installment in 1989, and has since descended into an endless succession of demonic sequels and Nazi-fighting prequels that still somehow managed to scare us pretty badly when we were kids. (The leech-spitting lady puppet probably didn’t help.) Due in part to their typically abysmal budget (and the fact that the knife-wielding murder puppets are the real stars of the show), you don’t usually think of things like “actors I’ve heard of before” when it comes to the cast of a Puppet Master movie; this is a franchise where Corey Feldman—from 2004’s crossover Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys—is a big-name get.
So it’s kind of crazy to see Variety report on the casting of the 13th ...

Director's intern on Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys, Full Moon is giving Alex Nicolaou his big "shot" by tapping him to direct Moon's forthcoming Zombies vs. Strippers. Hoping to capitalize on the success of previous films such as Zombie Strippers and the forthcoming Werewolves vs. Strippers, the screenplay follows colorfully inept inhabitants of a strip club in the lousiest beach slum of Los Angeles. The strippers can't quite grasp that their crummy little bar has become the last bastion of survival in a spontaneous zombie apocalypse. Shooting begins April 9. Full Moon is best known for their Puppet Master franchise spawning multiple sequels.

For someone who spent a lot of time frequenting the local "mom and pop" video store and living off a steady diet of Full Moon features during the late 80.s, early 90.s, this writer will always hold a special place in his heart for Charlie Band and his vengeful killer dolls from the Puppet Master series. Some are better than others, but most fans can agree that Puppet Master III: Toulon.s Revenge is definitely a high point in the series in terms of quality and star power. I.ll go as far as to cite it as my all time favorite Full Moon movie. So, after two dismal entries . Puppet Master: The Legacy , which was primarily stitched together using stock footage and the made-for-tv Puppet Master Vs Demonic Toys , Shock was excited to learn that David DeCoteau, the director...
