  • Yes. At the end of the credits we see Leslie in the autopsy room with a doctor when he sits up on the table and looks around. He had slowed his breathing and heart rate to appear dead. Edit

  • An interview with the screenwriter of the film says that Eugene was supposed to be Billy from Black Christmas in early versions of the script. In the film, he's an amalgamation of numerous early horror films that featured a generic killer; as Eugene says, in "his day," killers would go on a spree and then disappear, citing respect for future killers like Michael Meyers and Jason Voorhees who took the "art" to a new level by repeating their crimes (ie, sequels).
