Genre: Horrible

Warning: Spoilers
This movie, if watched seriously is Horrible, at best, can be watched with soda cans and friends, sitting there and Laughing (i gave it 10/10 for that)....

The story is as murky as it could be. Bang Bang!! Someone's (un)dead. The amorous man returns from the grave to avenge his death from The murderer, his wife and kith and Kin(?) This is how bollywood movies are supposed to be, a formula, put some actors (cheap is the best mantra works always) like Rana Jung Bahadur (whose prime was a tele- soap Tara), put some songs, filmise them on some random locales, and you have kabrastan (name it anything, won't make a difference), add some love, some action and some blaring music. We are done.

Kabrastan is best served chilled with Cola cans. Garnish it with Pop corns.

Too good a time-pass.

.Bollywood At its Worst!

Warning: Spoilers
Ugh!!This movie should have actually been called 'Kabristan Ka Chowkidar'. You know in the mid 80s 90s lot of cheap low budget horror slasher movies would be made ,and this movie is another addition to that ,its made by none other than B grade Specialist 'Mohan Bhakri'.You'll be surprised that Kabrastan contains songs sung By Lata Mangeshkar ,and penned down by Ghazal Genius Nida Fazli, but the movie is just trash .There is a song in the movie picturised on comedian Jagdeep which is a take on Michael Jacksons 'Thriller'.The movie cotains some Ramsay regulars like Kunika aunty,Huma Khan,Javed Khan (who would later appear in Zee Horror Show) and of course Hemant Birje (did Tarzan with Kimi Katkar)oh and yes Rana Jung Bahadur as the ghost who appears & re-appears anywhere ,pops in and out of the television screen!. As far as what the movie is all about ,well is it really necessary to know ?, - the same old Bollywood B-grade horror geek show sequences ,steamy saucy scenes, low budget picturisation, same old low grade make up .But trust me I've seen and known movies much cheaper than this fare! You can watch it if you want to test your patience, you might be in splits.

I was just a kid around 6-7 age at the time when I knew that there is some genre as Horror movies. And this movie was my first introduction to Horror genre. I remember seeing some Bollywood Hindi movie (not sure which one though, Insaniyat ke Dushman or something), and in interval when I was having some local soda and peanuts, suddenly trailer of this movie came with blasting sound. And I was thinking to myself WTF! All I can remember now is that disfigured face and nothing else. Have to say that that scene was more than enough for me to remain scarred for next few years till I became mature enough to laugh at Ramsay Horror Movies as a whole!

One of the best performance of Raza Murad. It is science fiction horror movie and if we ignore cheap scenes of the movie then we will find that it is good movie of length about one and half hours.

Character of Raza Murad is very well written in this movie, it is completely his movie. Javed Khan, Jagdeep and Amjad Khan have played their role sincerely.

Song performed in the night at Kabaristan is also USP of the movie.

Role of Hemant Birje is written in very poor and tiresome manner this is only a weak point of this movie.

If You are Raza Murad's fan then you should just watch this movie for his performance.
