Watched this film at the DaKino International Film Festival. The story follows an immigrant child through an "initiation-challenge" imposed on him by the group of local kids, who require him to "prove himself" as a worthy candidate to join the flock.
The chosen task - a quite viscious prank on a neighbor (no spoilers...) - turns awry and the new kid is left to carry the blame.
His solution to the problem, the situation the film places him in and the grander message to the ongoing victimization of "newcomer" groups by the previous "newcomer" group, left me wet-eyed and had a memorable impact on me for a long time.
A worthy watch.
