"The Dippy Daughter" is a film from Hal Roach Studio...the same folks who made Harold Lloyd famous and who brought the world Laurel & Hardy. However, despite these successes, it also occasionally brought us junk like this film!
Armando Novello stars as a cook working for a rich family. Most of his antics are only mildly interesting and a chase scene towards the end did little to improve it. The only thing I took from all this is that they recommend bonking a hysterical person on the head to make them their old selves again.
The bottom line is that this film isn't particularly funny, Novello is no Harold Lloyd and the film is quite forgettable.
