Lisa and Brittny Gastineau are a mother-daughter team of New York socialites who love the good life. In this premiere episode meet the two as they face one of their biggest challenges yet: Brittny moving back home. Things start off bumpy, but Brittny wows her mother by throwing her a surprise birthday party.

Lisa and Brittny head to Aspen, Colorado to celebrate New Year's Eve, where they connect with friends and enjoy the luxurious resort town. But the trip doesn't go as smoothly as planned when Brittny sets her sights on a guy. Will the mother and daughter work out their issues in time to end the year on the right note?

Continual drama with Brittny's ex-boyfriend is giving both of the Gastineaus a headache--because Brittny is yelling at him and Lisa has to hear it. To get Brittny out of her funk, the ladies head to Florida. After a bit of drama over the right vacationing spot, the two end up partying in Miami with a stranger who has eyes for both of the Gastineaus. But nice guys finish last--and so does this one.

Lisa's friend Shelia has a sweet yacht and a really good idea: Get the girls to the Bahamas for some fun in the sun and a photo shoot for Brittny's modeling portfolio. They all head down to Paradise Island and kick things off with a fun night of gambling. Lisa, naturally, finds a lucky charm in a hunky guy. The next day, Brittny isn't quite ready for her closeup and hesitates when the photographer asks her to pose in her bikini. But Lisa makes gains when she confronts her fear of dolphins.

After their third winter vacation, the ladies are back in the city. Fashion Week is coming up, and Brittny needs to make a good impression if she's ever going to make it in the modeling game. But she hasn't done much to get to her goal. And she's still a slob at home. So, after reclaiming her clothes, Lisa locks Brittny out of her room (literally) with a deadbolt and chain. With her modeling career on the slide, Brittny starts to put in more effort. But is it too little too late?

The Gastineau gals are ready to work. But is the working world ready for them? Aspiring model Brittny hits the town and visits designers, hoping to get a runway gig during Fashion Week. Some of it doesn't go so well, but her book is taking shape and, after a bit of training, her walk is getting fierce. Designer Anne Bowen likes what she sees and picks Britt for her catwalk--and her first runway job. Lisa, in pursuit of becoming the next Joan Rivers and/or Oprah, gets some media training and gets going on her own career.

The consummate New Yorkers are off to the left coast for Oscar week. But first they prep. Lisa gets her red carpet bling in order and scores a stunning dress from designer Anne Bowen (which is perfect, until she hears that Kate Bosworth is wearing the same thing, forcing a last minute switcheroo). Brittny even gets a "diamond therapy" session to relax after meeting with reps from Ford Models. Sparkling and looking good, the girls appear on E!'s live Academy Awards pre-show. But Lisa's sheer dress threatens a wardrobe malfunction. Even with a bit of drama though, the gals love California. So much Brittny ponders moving west.
The Gastineaus have been so focused on their careers that they've barely had time for love lives. So, the duo turns to a matchmaker. Brittny proves to be a tough cookie, shooting down various suitors. And she should be. After all, she's quite a catch having just made the Maxim Hot 100 List. Lisa is a little more up for the experience, even if her first date, Jeffery, annoyingly flaunts his wealth. Sparks fly with hunky baseball player Joe, but she cuts it short for a date with Glenn. Too bad she's pals with Glenn's ex-wife! After a few rounds of dating, a psychic lifts their spirits by telling them there is hope for the Gastineau girls yet.
Aspiring model Brittny learns that Los Angeles designer Ed Hardy might want her as the face of his biker chic fashion line. So she quickly hops a plane for a meeting in sunny California, gets an offer--and more incentives to relocate to the West Coast. In the Big Apple, Lisa is fulfilling her dream of becoming an entertainment broadcaster by hosting Full Frontal Fashion's red carpet coverage of a diamond event. She's nails it. A date involving some home cooking doesn't go so well, though. This season ends with the girls pondering their separate futures.
