"She carries a gun, so I don't know if that's somebody I'd be having lunch with," admitted Katey Sagal about her character on the FX drama "Sons of Anarchy." Describing this matriarch of a California biker gang, Sagal said: "She's very loyal and family-oriented ... not just out for herself. I tend to like people like that, but she's a scary girl. They live in a very different subculture than we're used to." The third season of the show (created, produced, and written by her husband Kurt Sutter) gave Sagal two major storylines. In the opening four episodes, she had several emotional scenes while visiting her father, played by Hal Holbrook. The latter part of the season saw her searching for a missing grandson, even taking her to Ireland for the hunt. Holbrook had been directed by Sagal's father Boris twice -- on a 1966 episode of "Preview Tonight" and on the 1978 miniseries "The Aw.
