Mysterious murders are committed at a financial firm and a young stock broker suspects that he co-workers are plotting against him. Will he be next?

I was pleasantly surprised by this Red Lightning. It had me second guessing and suspecting everyone as the culprit and then, just when I thought that I had it all figured out, I found that I was dead wrong and the story took a turn that left me speechless. The film also contained a lot of dimensional characters which made things quite interesting as I tried to follow the story. One of the actors in particular (Jesse Pate) plays multiple characters in the film, which I found to be pretty impressive with such contrasting characters. This is the second film that I have seen that was directed by Josh Eisenstadt. I think that he has a very unique style and I am looking forward to seeing what he comes up with on his next film.

"Red Lightning" The Movie. A "One of a Kind" Experience.
jessepate-129 August 2008
Many people in the industry say that "Red Lightning" has the most maturity and production value that they have seen for a film of it's meager budget.

Whenever we screen the film, people always think that there was a larger crew and more time taken than we had available.

Working as an actor on other features with larger budgets, it has become increasingly more obvious that our director; Josh Eisenstadt, has the gift of "doing more with less".

Here's to hoping that his new 35 millimeter thriller "Dark Reel" will continue to increase his budgets and feed his hungry audience.

P.S. A girl from one of the screenings jumped in here and voted on "Red Lightning".

I personally wasn't comfortable rating our own movie. Cheers, JP
