Featured review
The best Iceland has done in a long time.
This movie is a sort of Michael Moore type of documentary, trying more to be entertaining then just another boring Sunday afternoon documentary.
Bubbi Morthens hasn't led the most unbelievable rock star life but he is however more of a natural talent then any other troubadour in the market.
The movie does a good job of delivering his life and I really recommend it.
The director and the editor do a good job with the storytelling.
Also, the D.O.P., Ragnar Santos, is an excellent man for his job and it will be exiting to see anything he works on.
All in all, the movie deserved the Edda it received. (Icelandic Film Award)
I give it a 10 out of 10.
