If you are a fan of bicycle motocross or Freestyle riding during the mid 1970's and 80's, this is required viewing for you. Great stuff.

Normally most purists of the sport are glued to vintage bmx web sites or leafing through decades old issues of bmx action magazines till now.

This movie combines amazing historical footage, interviews of the major players during the growing years of the sport and a perfect sense of what it was like to be in Southern California "back in the day".

Loads of great footage compliment this perfect documentary of a sport that until now was only available on underground compilation bootleg videos and stored away on private super 8 tapes.

Fans won't be disappointed and once its finally released on DVD, I'm sure new fans will emerge.

If you know what BMX is, get this!!! Heck, get it regardless, and find out what you've missed!

I was lucky enough to see a screening of this at Rockford in June 2005, and it was a straight time machine trip to the '80s! I'm no movie reviewer, but if you ever raced, freestyled, or rode a 20" BMX style or Schwinn Stingray style bike in the '80s then you'll want to see this movie.

I'm really looking forward to getting my DVD copy sometime in the next few days, and watching it a few more times to catch stuff I missed the first time around. I had goosebumps more than once watching this movie, and now my wife was finally able to see what it was that I loved, and still love about BMX, and why I still ride those "little kid" bikes today...

Bring out the little kid in yourself again, get this DVD!

This movie is totally amazing, on the back of Riding Giants and Dogtown and Z Boys comes the definitive movie bible of all things BMX. It is fascinating to watch and to re-live many of the things that shaped and made BMX what it is today. From the earliest racers to the modern day X Games maniacs there is something here for people from all disciplines of the sport.... If you have ever ridden a BMX you really should watch this...

I really liked the bit about the dark years when BMX fell out of favour, not a lot of coverage, no sponsors, it's amazing how things have changed.

Re-live your childhood, watch your TV in awe of the BMX greats who inspired you decades ago and who will inspire you again.......

Amazingly well shot film about the origins and evolution of BMX.

If you are or were a rider, you have to see this film.

It is the first real account of what Bicycle Moto Cross and freestyle BMX was in the 80's,90s and is today.

The cast is a who's who of mostly riders but also company owners and magazine editors both past and present and also gives a real insight into what went on and how they dealt with it at the time. It also lays to rest and also verifies some of the rumours that surrounded the sport in the early days.

Buy it.
