Having sex in the cemetery is never a good idea
Woodyanders28 June 2009
Warning: Spoilers
Obnoxious punk rocker Rick (an enjoyably manic performance by Ralph Edsell) and his ditsy girlfriend (an amusingly whiny portrayal by Robin Lilly) sneak into a cemetery late at night so they take drugs and make out on top of someone's grave. The amorous couple not only get attacked by outraged zombies, but also have a special fatal encounter with the Grim Reaper. Writer/director Robert M. Snyder delivers a hilariously trashy parody of cheapo low-grade horror fare that comes complete with priceless campy dialogue ("You're really sick, Rick!"), hysterically lousy acting, the inevitable ominous mist swirling about all over the ground, rough, grainy cinematography, a deliciously cheesy generic shuddery synthesizer score, plenty of profanity, a smidgen of gratuitous female nudity, and even a nice juicy decapitation. The surprise gag towards the end is absolutely gut-busting. The punks are amusingly broad stereotypes: Rick acts extremely boorish and wears ripped jeans while his slutty girlfriend sports ghastly make-up and a hideously overpermed mass of pale blonde hair. A total hoot.
