Pretty typical of Bozzetto's more recent films...

Bruno Bozzetto's more recent shorts have taken on a very minimalist style that is very different from his older animations. Despite the newer work boiling down to simple shapes and very simple animations, one hing that is a constant is that they are funny and quite enjoyable.

The film begins with aliens bringing a man to a tiny planet. Then, again and again, he pushes a button and the aliens return to give him things to make his life on the planet easier. It's all apparently supposed to be Bozzetto's version of the story of Adam. It's full of silly humor and I loved some of the things these daffy aliens gave Adam. Clever and cute.

Adam and the Flying Saucer

Warning: Spoilers
"Adam", like "Life" is one flash animation done by Bruno Bozzetto which references in an ironic manner the story of Creation. And like in "Life" the art style is minimalistic, working mostly with very simple shapes which resemble stick figures and a very little amount of color.

However, what makes the flash animations made by Burno Bozetto is that each one of them had a good concept or idea behind them, and those ideas are properly executes, using subtle humor to make a good point about different aspects from life.

Without being Bozzetto's best work, "Adam" is definitely worth-watching.
