Fantastic

For parents, people thinking of becoming parents, or anyone else for that matter - Tiny Tearaways is phenomenal. The children are doing their best to do it there way, and Dr Bryon is here to say different. What I do know is that it's not the children who need to change, it's always the parents.

The best parenting programme for a long time

Warning: Spoilers
Dr Tanya Byron is a child psychologist who helps three families over six days with emotional and developmental problems of their kids through a series of exercises, challenges and activities.

So far I have seen four weeks of this series, and they've just said that they are making more editions of the programme. They had to stop doing the programme for a while because they said that Dr Tanya's father had died unexpectedly, and I feel sorry for this happening to such a nice person.

I am not a parent, but even I can see how useful this programme is for new and expectant parents to learn from watching this programme. It can also be useful if you are planning to enter into a childcare job to watch this programme.

I give it 10 out of 10.

Best programme and Dr ever!

If you are interested in psychology you have got to watch this. DrTanya Byron is an amazing person who has helped every family who has entered the house. She is a warm person who actually cares about the families and is not just after fame. (bit of extra info: she is married to Bruce Byron- The Bill's Terry Perkins.) Tanya is a consultant clinical psychologist who now specialises in children and adolescents. There have been two series up to know, presented by Claudia Winkleman, which were aired this year. Each family, with children aged 2 to 8, stay in the house for 6 days which include intense therapy sessions with the wonderful Tanya. The children have a range of problems such as sleeping and eating problems, terrible tantrums, phobias and head butting. It is really an eye-opener as you realise how much the parents behaviour affects their children's and ho much even very young children can pick up from their parents. This programme is aired on BBC 3 at 8pm, although it deserves to be on BBC 1 as well. Tanya has also wrote a book to go with this programme which is equally amazing. She deserves all the success in the world! This is a must see. Watch it every chance you get!

House of Tiny Tearaways is excellent viewing!

Warning: Spoilers
The House of Tiny Tearaways is an excellent programme. Dr. Tanya Byron is an amazing, inspirational person who is a child psychologist. She works with 3 different families each with different problems. They all live as a community in one house for 6 days. At the end of the 6 days the results are wonderful. She sets realistic goals with the parents and is always truthful with them but does this in a very caring, non-harsh way. I myself am not a parent but i find this programme so interesting and it has taught me a lot of facts about parenting in which i will use when i become a parent. I work in the field of adult mental health and this programme has even opened up another line of work in which i may follow in years to come. Child psychology is extremely interesting and its principles are clearly shown within this programme. In my view though it is Dr Tanya Byron who makes this show so interesting to watch. She makes the parents feel at ease and practices her work in a safe environment.
