All money raised by the film, without ever covering its costs, will go directly to the Beth Shalom Holocaust Centre and to the Lidice Memorial.
Christopher Lee was lined up to play "Mr. Heinrichson", having established a working rapport with director Jamie Breese on a prior project. However, mere days before the start of the shoot, Lee became ill, and the part of Heinrichson went to Nicholas Amer, who was originally cast as "Weathered Face", a role which was then recast.
