Shekhar Kapoor was signed for a role but opted out.
Rahul Roy was signed for the film along side Pooja Bhatt and Deepak Tijori. This is when Gulshan Kumar was co producing it with Mukesh Bhatt. Gulshan Kumar kept insisting that Deepak Tijori's role be given to his brother Krishan Kumar. This angered Mukesh Bhatt. Mukesh put his foot down and said he did not want Krishan Kumar in the film. Gulshan Kumar decided to pull out from the film and not co produce it. Bhooshan Patel eventually did Deepak Tijori's role.
