I loved this program. In fact, I give this show the credit for making me want to be a filmmaker.
I was 6 years old, right around the release of "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock". I remember because "Standby: Lights! Camera! Action!" devoted an entire episode to it. It was the first time I saw ANY of what goes on behind the camera - and I was hooked.
I don't think there's a show like this for kids anymore. That's a real shame. It was stuff like this that opened my eyes to the men and women who put in all of that work to entertain the world.
Great stuff.
