Let's just say Tony Orlando will Not be knocking three times on a ceiling anytime soon -- not with his left hand, anyway. The '70s pop star -- who sang 'Tie a Yellow Ribbon' and "Knock Three Times" -- sliced the tip of his middle finger clean off in a garage door accident at his home in Branson, Missouri. Tony's son, Jon, tells us he was calm and collected -- way more...

I start prepping for Easter probably three weeks before it arrives, but somehow it always seems to be a rush the day before! This year we’ll have over 20 people at our home so most likely I will be rushing to get everything done.
But again, I love prepping as much in advance so I can celebrate with everyone day of.

Dave Appell, the Philadelphia songwriter-producer behind such 1960s rock ’n’ roll hits as “Let’s Twist Again” and “Limbo Rock” from Chubby Checker and Dee Dee Sharp’s “Mashed Potato Time,” has died. He was 92. Appell, who later produced the Tony Orlando and Dawn hits “Knock Three Times” and “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree,” died Tuesday, his family announced. He lived and had a studio — where he was still working into his 90s — in Cherry Hill, N.J. Starting in the late 1950s, Appell was a mainstay for a decade at the

From Piers Morgan to Polly Toynbee, Jemima Khan to Jarvis Cocker – David Cameron takes questions from public figures who want answers
Hear what the Pm has to say in our audio interactive
David Mitchell, comedian
Do you wish you were less posh?
"[Laughs] No. You can't change who you are. For a long time I thought my full name was 'The Old Etonian David Cameron'. I had parents who gave me a wonderful start in life, who sacrificed a lot to give me a great education. So I don't ever want to change – I don't want to drop my accent or change my vowels. I am who I am."
Piers Morgan, TV presenter
If you could relive one moment in your life, excluding births of children and marriage, what would it be?
"God, that's a really good question. Piers, why don't you ever ask really good questions like that normally? I...

Our Idiot Brother
Directed by: Jesse Peretz
Cast: Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Emily Mortimer
Running Time: 1 hr 30 mins
Rating: R
Release Date: August 26, 2011
Plot: After being released from jail, hippie brother Ned (Rudd) moves back to the city to live with his sisters (Banks, Deschanel, Mortimer).
Who’S It For?: While Our Idiot Brother might have Rudd at the center, the weight is of the movie is just as much on his supporting sisters. Our Idiot Brother has that Hollywood malleability that people (like Harvey Weinstein, probably) dream about – it can either be about a single brother or three sisters equally. It’s for guys and gals.
Expectations: A Sundance favorite featuring Paul Rudd, Zooey Deschanel, and Elizabeth Banks should always be appealing. Just how charming could Rudd be as a shaggy haired “idiot”?
Scorecard (0-10)

Running Time: 1 hr 30 mins
Rating: R
Release Date: August 26, 2011
Plot: Ned (Rudd) gets in trouble with the law and now he needs to rely on his three sisters for support.
Who’S It For? The Portland hipster has found a new hero in Ned. It’s a simple drama/comedy about dysfunctional families.
Expectations: Paul Rudd, a great cast playing the sisters … why wouldn’t it be good?
Scorecard (0-10)
Actors:
Paul Rudd as Ned: Dude. Man. Rudd finds that line between being funny but never being the joke. He is easily the highlight of this film (compared to the subject, the other actors, the setting and the dialogue). Ned sells weed to a cop, hands a pile of cash to a random guy and you can’t help but want to hang out with the man.

The Our Idiot Brother soundtrack. Some might say that marketing/advertising is a profoundly dishonourable profession. That it’s all a three-ring circus operated by slick-talking snake oil salesman, peddling premium-priced versions of the emperor’s new underpants to gullible schmoes, with this in turn further fuelling the excrement-spewing media pipeline that pumps crap directly into the poor unsuspecting public’s collective cranium.
And when you find that a movie which was called My Idiot Brother just six months ago, when it played to a largely positive reception at Sundance, has now been rechristened Our Idiot Brother ahead of a Us release at the end of next month, it’s hard not to wonder just how many marketing monkeys it took to change that particular re-branding light bulb, and how much green they scored for their (lack of) efforts.
But if the name-change smacks of tinkering for the sake of charging an oversized fee,...

With their new film Cemetery Junction, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant wanted to create a classic British tale of smalltown escape. Ben Walters goes on set and hears how they left irony behind
The pavement outside Victoria House, an imposing interwar office building on Bloomsbury Square in central London, is cluttered with bins, bikes and bus-stop signs from the 1970s. In the square, men in pale-blue dinner jackets, extravagantly frilled shirts and bravura sideburns stroll in the July sun, talking on their mobile phones. In a bar deep inside the building, women with elaborately waved hair stroll past clusters of tan leather chairs, walnut-wood tables and chrome deco lamps, cordoned off behind yellow crime-scene tape to keep them spotless. Large flatscreen monitors show images from the film shoot underway in the ballroom next door. The monitors aren't needed to hear the piercing hoot that is Ricky Gervais's laugh.
