Man at Work
As a study of a man at work (sorting through a large collection of mail - presumably cancelled judging by this short's title) this film pretty much achieves what it sets out to do, but there's nothing of interest. The chap in the film clearly knows what he's doing, even though he does it somewhat self-consciously on screen, but the camera remains motionless which means it has captured all the information it is ever going to record in the first ten seconds of shooting. The only moment of excitement is when the worker looks off-screen to his left and says something to somebody with a half-smile on his face. A few seconds later a colleague comes to his work station to remove a selection of envelopes.
