Despite the crude and unnecessary opening dialogue, this is a watchable movie that constantly has the viewer intrigued and interested.
The production value is quite high considering it is an obviously low budget movie, the cinematography, directing and acting is all fairly decent.
The last 20 minutes get a bit weird and IMHO pointless (with the exception of the closing speech), and if it weren't for that last 20 minutes and the opening dialogue I'd give this movie an 8.
I got a hold of the DVD and was interested by its plot outline. The movie isn't as I expected - thinking it would be a sort of poor-man's modern Wings Of Desire. Instead it turned out to be a pretty good drama/poetic telling of a story.
