I thought this movie was a great family film. The chemistry between the lead female Tara Leniston and Carlos Ponce was fantastic, as was the chemistry between Eduardo and Carlos. I have seen it 3 times in the past week with various friends and I ever get tired of it. It brings a tear every time. Tara provides real Eye candy for the males and Eduardo and Carlos for the ladies. What a great mix. The scene on the balcony of Julias apartment is my favorite. Its the first time we start to see the real Julia. Taras eye catching beauty mixed with Khol rimmed eyes and messed up hair reminds me of a young Bridgett Bardo. I will be recommending everyone to go and see this movie. Its not just for the girls. It will even make the hardest of hearts melt just a little.

I wanted to know where can I buy the movie meet me in Miami, starting Carlos Ponce. I tried looking everywhere and on line and no luck. I heard so much about this movie, that I even tried all video rental and they say do don't have this movie. or was it just a made for TV special I would greatly appreciate if you can tell me where I can buy this movie, I'm asking because you stated that you have seen it three times or so or of anyone can tell me where I can find this movie, I have been looking for it for weeks, and no luck. I'm hoping that maybe you could help me locate this movie, or if you have an additional copy of the movie and what to sell it, I would buy it from you. Thank you

I loved this movie! It's got comedy. Some of the lines are laugh out loud funny. It's romantic. Every woman wants a man like Luis who loves her for who she is rather than her outer appearances. It's "clean" there's kissing but no sex - a pleasant change. It's hopeful. It gives you a feeling that following your dreams is possible. All the roles are believable. Both male leads play off each other really well. The timing is great. You adore the "boy next door" personality of Luis, and even though Eduardo is a woman chasing guy, he's likable! It's the perfect date movie. I highly recommend this movie! When it comes on out on video - I'll definitely add it to my collection.

I expected this movie to be good eye candy, since the two lead actors are very good looking. However, to my surprise it was way more than eye candy. The movie was very sweet and innocent. No violence or sex scenes. I specially was very pleased with the no sex scenes; my mother was watching the movie with me.
I will recommend watching this movie; it is a good reminder that we should always follow our dreams.
Eduardo Verastegui's acting has improved since Chasing Papi and so has his English.
Really looking forward to the next one: BELLA.
