A wonderful movie! Gustav Peter Woehler in a psychologically precise role of a father who faces the danger of suffocating from monotony. With the help of a "mysterious" taxi driver (wonderfully talkative and furtively melancholic: Meret Becker), however, he slowly manages to gain new happiness.
All actors play their parts wonderfully convincing and with charm and the sad undertone the story needs to convince below the surface. The story is warm-hearted and creates many moments of identification.
With her portrait of a middle-class family in Bremen , the directress proves great empathy and the ability to downgrade cliché moments with dry humor and pointed dialogues.
One follows Wolf Koester (Woehler) through all emotions and strange little encounters of a typical day and of a typical life - the chance of meeting someone who might change ones life forever waiting just around the corner.
I can recommend the movie to everyone who loves becoming a little emotionally aroused by a little wonderful film.
