These films are usually ignored, but this movie actually came within a hair's breath in being in the "Showgirls" and the when Alyssa Milano went sexy era realm for being a classic. Up until the final 15 minutes, it was, unlike so many "skinemax" or pornography scenes, almost like a real movie. (to paraphrase "Boogie Nights")
First, the women are much better looking than the normal internet dump. Candice Michelle was a wrestling Diva and a GoDaddy girl and at the time of this movie was like a brunette Pamela Anderson. She has four pretty explicit scenes. Second, the movie actually has a plot of sorts, set up scenes before the sex scenes, and the characters actually remember what they did five minutes before. (very rare for an erotic movie where two characters have sex than act like it never happened for the rest of the movie.)
Its basically an all-girl movie where four straight women get a new roommate (Belinda Gavin) who the seduces all but one of them. (more on that below) Gavin's character basically waits until the other girls have boy trouble then pounces. Since the women are very good looking and there is actually a set up, its really pretty hot. Its shot on film and the settings and the women are well shot. Again, almost like a theatrical movie.
Unfortunately, it appears all the effort to actually make a good erotic movie made them run out of money as the film basically ends with ten minutes of grainy footage of the girls playing in a pool. (it looks like an establishing shot that was meant to be seen for a second and they just let it run to pad the movie to some contractual running time.) A "new roommate" is only shown from behind at the door. (to me, shows they couldn't afford to hire another actress)Finally, the last "real scene" is Gavin's character sinisterly/sexily promising her assistant she will seduce the final girl (a blonde who was actually also very good looking who was the most resistant to her advances), but it never happens. If it did, I think any guy watching the movie head would have exploded.
If they could have just gotten funding for the final few scenes, this film would have literally broken the internet. Its too bad. It could have been the best erotic soft core movie of the genre and fell just short.
