first off, congratulations on your first short film. Great first attempt and a performance by you that is above average for a first director.
this is such a universal theme you chose to make a film about..with the uniqueness of choosing a male's perspective. i felt bad for the character Hayden, he was too in love with a woman that he felt that its her or no one else. you incorporated in your film drama, music, romance, tragedy which is a lot to incorporate in one film and especially a short. i admire your great taste in classical music, and middle eastern instruments that you chose to use and made it ONE with the story. i can see the actors were hard to work with, and probably was against your will since you had such a bigger story to tell for these 2 to portray. the best thing i liked was the DIRECTING. It showed passion behind a story wanting to be told, a story close to your heart, a story that you most of all relate to. the lighting and cinematography were superb, great job on the effect of isolation and loneliness.
