This is a highly original and creepy story about a loser named 'Steven'. Steven just broke up and is very sad. So sad that in desperation he downloads a stupid computer program that features a pink panda who is his virtual friend. The program looks pretty lame, as the animation isn't great, his jokes are pretty lame and its repertoire of comments seem pretty shallow. Yet, oddly, he is addicted to it and is constantly using this bizarre program in place of real relationships. Later, however, there are some weird twists that are less funny than just weird and perhaps thought-provoking about how we rely too much for computers instead of honest-to-goodness human contact.

Technically speaking, the acting, direction and entire production are just fine. However, it's such an unusual and rather dark film that I am not sure how others will enjoy it. As for me, I am glad I saw it.

It captivates the interest, and each character plays their part in the story to a 'T'. This story helps to exaggerate the lack of real intimacy, and the resulting conclusions we fall on.
