The History Of World Soccer!
guscardozo4 January 2006
For me this video is the ultimate World Cup's movie. It tells all the history of soccer (between 1930 and 2002)in a lot of topics. The best defense player, the best team, the best goal keeper, etc. Brazil is the best team all time, but the 1958's and 1970's most than the others. A lot of goals in every single edition. It shows great people who had been involved with this amazing sport. Pele, Maradona, Garrincha, Yashin, Beckenbauer, even Ronaldinho and Zidane. All the stars are there. In the extra material you can watch a documentary with original takes from the first World Cup in Uruguay 1930. An historical movie that shows the Uruguay's team in Olympic games (1924, 1928) and the construction of the "Centenary Satadium" in Montevideo. If you like soccer and see it like a cult you must to see!

Great!

Awesome DVD with lots of classic footage. All the top players are covered around the world in a nice history of 100 years of FIFA. The DVD is a double set so you get over 3 hours of video. It's broken up into sections which cover different time periods or particular events in the game.

There's a section on great players, showcasing all the best (Maradona of course) One part, villains, has all the best known fouls and red cards! Some nasty in-game action there with people fighting on the pitch, throwing chairs etc. and giving the game a bad name. Not much from England in this section which surprised me.

The music is good too, which is unusual for a sports DVD, most Sport DVDs I have seen have terrible music!
