As the Title

This is a compilation of actors at play, indulging in sports from running along the beach to horseback riding, with stopovers in boxing and kids playing baseball. It was produced for the Keith-Albee circuit, a precursor of RKO and looks to be pretty cheaply done. The titles, illegible in the copy I saw, were supposed to be written by famed sportswriter Grantland Rice, and they very well might have been, but it's impossible to judge at this distance in time.

This sort of Hollywood-focused short was popular for several decades. Columbia's SCREEN SNAPSHOTS ran for three decades and was an inexpensive series for a film program. This one looks like it was produced on the cheap and, except for the variety of players, isn't good. For those of us interested in old Hollywood, though, it is fun.
