Jamison Handy produced cartoon commercials for various firms. This one, from 1941, sells Chevrolets reasonably subtly -- the autos used are all Chevvies -- but it also shows some of the methods that cartoonists use to make cartoons. So it's a technically interesting film. The actors involved -- including one named Robert Allen, who is NOT the cartoon director who worked for MGM -- are a bit wooden.
Jam Handy's organization is not well remembered today, but he produced a large number of industrial films, few of which are listed on the IMDb. This cartoon was meant to sell the 1942 model Chevrolets -- not many were made. Production was stopped for the next four years, as the production lines in Detroit went to work on war material.
