Paranoid tycoon
bkoganbing12 October 2018
Efrem Zimbalist gets whisked away from his normal Hollywood beat when he's hired by tycoon Arch Johnson to protect him from someone in his immediate circle who is trying to kill him. All possible suspects are going to be on an African safari in Kenya so it's the usual closed mystery circle.

Stock jungle footage and obvious backlot sets don't detract from a good mystery yarn even though Stu Bailey's cover is blown almost immediately since one of the people on the safari he's had history with.

As for Johnson he proves such a lovable guy any one of these people has been given enough reason to do him in.

It's a happy ending for all but two of the cast.

Correct adventure yarn, but not more.

This time, only Stu will be on the spot. He is hired by a wealthy man to protect him against his friends during a safari in the deep Africa. The rich fellow suspects them to get rid of him, to attempt on his life. Is he paranoid or what? Anyway, this episode will bring us outside LA or any other town, such Paris or Roma, as we already saw in this series. Of course, some stock shots will be used concerning wild life. During this safari, there will be beautiful gals, such the likes of Julie Adams, and that will not make things easy for our hero Bailey. Hunting sessions will have an important part in this story, because if anyone among the safari guests attempt on the host's life, this will be here, isn't it?
